The Diss and District Rotary Club is running a Blood Pressure Awareness day in Mere Street on Saturday May 24, as part of a national campaign.

From 9am to 12 noon, a stand will be open on the United Reform Church forecourt, where trained staff can test blood pressures and provide advice.

Clive Sinfield, Community Service Chair of Diss Rotary Club, said: “This is a community project that could actually save lives.”

This event will mark the 11th year of collaboration between Rotary International in Great Britain and the Stroke Association.
