A group of cyclists from the Cross Keys in Redgrave will again embark on a 25-mile ride for charity.
The event, organised by Ben Hopwood, will take place on August 9 and will start and end at the pub.
It is the second year that Mr Hopwood has set up the event and he hopes to raise even more money this time round.
“Last year we raised £1,300 but this year we are hoping to top the £1,500 mark.”
They are raising money for two charities, one chosen in support of Mr Hopwood’s uncle who has motor neurone disease, the other to raise money for Macmillan nurses, who cared for one of the pub’s late regulars.
Following the cycle, the pub will host an evening of entertainment.
“There will be lots of fun activities for all ages. We have a donations only barbecue before a performance from LK’s Dance School and a charity karaoke,” he added.
To sponsor the riders, visit the pub or call 01379 898510.
