Creepy crawlies and habitats have been on the timetable for Mellis Primary School’s Starling class.
Looked after by class teacher Miss Whymark and assistants Mrs Gailton (left), Miss Polley, in the last half term the class have been learning about habitats.
They enjoyed a recent trip to Eastern Farm Park, taking part in pond dipping and minibeast hunting.
The role play area in the class has been has been turned into a bug shop, and the pupils have made and painted their own clay minibeasts.
They have also brought in shoeboxes from home which have been transformed into habitats.
