A cheque has been presented to a youth club in Debenham after a charity dinner dance held last year.
Earlier this month, a cheque for £1,000 was presented to young people of The Base, provided and managed by the Forge Community Church, by the Rotary Club of High Suffolk (RCHS).
Members of the RCHS were so impressed with the work being done with young people in Debenham and the surrounding area it was decided to hold a fund raising event.
A 50s and 60s dinner dance was hosted at the Debenham Community Centre towards the end of last year.
Young people from The Base made a contribution to the event by waiting on tables.
Pictured from left to right are RCHS chairman Harry Standley, Shannon Evans and Elisha Saunders, of The Base, staff member at The Base Matt Levett, Ruth Jenkins of RCHS, and Imogen Bloomfield, Lewis Walker and Sam Spurling, also of The Base.
The youth club, for youngsters between 11 and 19, meet at the High Suffolk Centre in Debenham on Friday nights.
