Car overturns and crashes into building near Debenham

A road traffic collision in north Suffolk led to a person being trapped in their vehicle this evening.

The incident happened at about 3.15pm in Fenn Street, Winston, and saw the car overturn and crash into a building.

Fire crews from Debenham, Needham Market and Stowmarket attended the scene, and found a car on its roof.

The person inside it was trapped.

By 4.24pm, the person had been removed from the car and was in the care of paramedics.

The situation was then handed over to Suffolk Police, while work was underway to assess damage done to the building.
