Beer lovers from as far as Brighton travelled to Yaxley earlier this month for the first ever Mid Anglia Camra Beer Festival.
A wide variety of ales and cider were available at the village hall for the inaugural beer festival, design to promote and raise the awareness of good, locally produced beverages.
In celebration of the event, Hoxne Brewery and Bartrams Brewery launched new ales - Torchlight and IP30A, respectively.
There was also music from local bands including 23X, Savoir Fair and The Onion Band. Peter Abery, press and media officer for CAMRA, said: “One person said it was the best CAMRA festival he had been to for a long while. When the weather is fantastic that always helps. Generally it was well received, well organised, and in a nice location.”
