The historic Chequers Inn in Bressingham has failed to sell at auction.
The pub, which had a guide price of £250,000, saw some bidding, up to £271,000, but failed to meet its reserve price.
Norwich-based Auction House, which held the auction at Dunston Hall yesterday, is now inviting offers on the property.
The Grade-II listed pub was gutted by fire in October 2009, but painstakingly rebuilt to English Heritage specifications at a cost of £700,000.
It ceased trading about a year ago.
Despite this, and an indicator of the health of the pub industry currently, the Chequers, on the A1066, was only marketed with its £250,000 guide price.
