Borderhoppa campaign almost half way to fundraising target
The Borderhoppa is almost half way to reaching its £25,000 target to buy a new bus.
More than £12,000 is now in the fundraising pot and the money will be matched pound for pound by The Borderhoppa’s trustees to allow the charity to buy a new specially modified minibus which will be used to transport people living in rural locations who have no access to a car or other transport.
As well as continuing with the campaign, backed by the Diss Express, the charity needs to hire a new driver following the retirement of one of its long-serving drivers and is in need of more volunteer drivers.
