Bid to build £100million renewable energy plant in north Suffolk still on hold
The bid to build a £100million renewable energy plant in Mendlesham is still on ice.
Mid Suffolk District Council asked Eco2 - the developer - to withdraw the bid last year.
But the firm is still assessing its options.
A spokesman said: “Eco2 is still in discussions with the council as to the next steps for the application.
“We are hoping that the matter can be resolved soon, given the urgent need in the UK for renewable energy capacity, but it would be inappropriate to comment further until there is an agreed way forward.”
