Hundreds of people flocked to Eye Town Hall on Saturday, October 26 for the Green Fair, organised by the Green Party.
10 years on from the first fair held at the town hall, people had the chance to browse a range of stalls selling local produce and watch a short play on climate change from former Eye mayor Simon Hooton.
The Suffolk Wildlife Trust, Traidcraft and Save the Children were among some of the charities represented at the event. Organiser John Matthissen said: “We were very pleased with it and we had the best attendance that I can recall. We worked that bit harder this year and people kept coming in all day.”
Plans for next year’s fair are already in their early stages.
