Two Morrisons staff have head their heads shaved in a bid to raise some cash for charity.
Ruth Harris-Orford decided in February to have her hair shaved off to raise funds, but after she announced it, colleague Carole Wain decided she would like to join her and have her hair shaved off as well.
Their treasured locks were finally shaved off on Saturday, in the Diss Morrisons store.
More than 75 people came to watch. They have beaten their target of £1,500, with now more than £2,000 raised.
Park Radio was also in attendance for an outside broadcast, keeping shoppers entertained and playing music.
Money raised is being donated to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, Sue Ryder, and the Alzheimer’s Society.
And it is still possible to donate - by going online to www.justgiving.com and search for ‘Ruth Harris-Orford’. There are two pages, one for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices and one for the Alzheimer’s Society.
You can also give money at the customer services desk in the store.
