Regulars at the Kings Head pub in North Lopham raised £2,000 at their Christmas Carolling and Auction event, among other efforts.
They included a men’s cake bake, raffling a giant chocolate robin and a cake made and decorated by Chrissie Callow. The carol and auction event has been a regular feature on the Sunday before Christmas for about 35 years, with local fundraising at its centre.
The money was donated to four causes; £650 each to the Norfolk and Waveney Big C cancer charity and the Stroke Association, and £350 each to St Andrew’s Pre School and Lopham’s Kumo Judo Club.
