A young Diss musician says he has an “incredible opportunity” when he launches his first solo album with a show at the famous Norwich Waterfront next month.
Will How, 20, will unveil The Heartbreak Club with a special headline slot on July 8 at 7pm.
It’s an incredible opportunity to be able to show off what I’m capable of, especially as it’s something I’ve never done beforeWill How
Also the drummer of Diss band Chasing Creation, he said he began recording a few songs at home last year — playing every instrument himself — and, after a good response, decided to go “all in” and create an album.
He describes his work as “indie, old school rock and roll” drawing influences from the likes of the Arctic Monkeys and Link Wray.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to be able to show off what I’m capable of, especially as it’s something I’ve never done before,” he said. “I really can’t wait.
“I wasn’t expecting it to be anything huge or great, I was just going to throw it on SoundCloud and see what people think.
“After I announced the show I got such a huge response it was crazy. Tickets are flying out the door which is amazing.”

The album is available to buy from iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and is also featured on Spotify.
