A giant panda has gone missing in Dickleburgh — thanks to a Harleston super-slimmer.

Rowena Mason, who runs the Dickleburgh Slimming World Group, has been awarded 'Bronze' status from the national chain thanks to her success in helping her group, in excess of 50 members, reach their dream weight and improve their health.

I’m very lucky and I truly believe I have the best job in the world

And Mrs Mason said this year so far, the group has lost 110 stone. In April alone 330lbs was lost by members — the equivalent of a giant panda — with Mrs Mason saying she uses the comparisons to motivate her slimmers.

"I am delighted to have received the ‘Bronze’ award on behalf of the Dickleburgh group," she said.

"I feel passionately about helping people to transform their lives by losing weight in the same way that I did when I lost over 4st with Slimming World in 2015.

"This award belongs to the Dickleburgh group’s members.

"They’re the ones who make the group the success that it is, with their fabulous commitment, the wonderful support they give to each other every week, and obviously their impressive weight losses while following Slimming World’s Food Optimising eating plan. The group has really put healthy weight loss on the map in Dickleburgh.

"I’m over the moon to have become a Bronze Consultant and now I’m going for Gold, although I feel like I’ve already struck gold – I have a healthy figure, a fabulous job that I absolutely love and great friends in the members.

"I’m very lucky and I truly believe I have the best job in the world."
