Funeral held for musician
The funeral of a man who died following a sudden asthma attack took place last Friday.
Toby Thomas, 20, who had suffered from asthma his whole life, died when he was visiting friends in Norwich.
He was rushed to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital where he died on July 29.
Mr Thomas had lived in Gislingham, Barnham, Fornham All Saints, Chevington and Newmarket and studied at Hartismere High School.
He was a talented musician and was due to go to the University of Westminster to study commercial music after having studied sound technology at West Suffolk College.
His mother, Nicky Pittit, has spoken about the family’s loss and said although Mr Thomas’ attacks were getting worse, his death had come as a complete shock.
She also said his death might highlight the dangers and seriousness of asthma, which many people are unaware of.
