Macmillan Cancer Support’s mobile service will be visiting Diss in June, offering free, specialist information and support on the disease.

It will be stationed outside the town’s post office on Wednesday, June 8 from 10am to 4pm. Cancer specialists will be on hand to answer questions and provide information.

The team is encouraging anyone with worries or concerns relating to cancer to stop by, whether you are living with or beyond cancer, of are a carer of loved one of someone who is.

A Macmillan Benefits advisor will also be present, to offer advice on finance.

Wendy Marchant, a Macmillan Information and Support Specialist on the unit, said: “It’s really important that people living with cancer are able to access the financial information and support they are entitled to, so they can focus on what’s most important: their health.”
