Bereavement support group sessions in Diss and Attleborough are set to begin at the start of next month.
Led by a qualified bereavement group facilitator Liz Chapman and organised by Rosedale Funeral Home, an initial run of eight weekly sessions will start on September 1.
“Grief is the price we pay for loving. Everyone’s experience of grief is unique and there is no right or wrong way to grieve,” she said.
“In this group you will find people who care and understand what you are going through. The group is open to anyone who has lost a loved one – no matter how long ago or in what circumstances, and regardless of which funeral director was used. The sessions are free and everyone is welcome – there’s no pressure to take part, if someone just wants to listen that’s fine.”
The first sessions run from Yard House, High Street, Attleborough, from 10am to noon, and Rosedale House, Victoria Road, Diss, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
