Diss Infants and Diss Junior School are set to host their first-ever joint fayre next month.

It will run from 11am to 3pm at Diss Junior School, in The Entry, on Saturday, July 4.

Park Radio will be running a central arena, which will host demonstrations from the likes of LK’s School of Dance, the Black Belt Academy, zumba, street dancing and gymnasts.

There will also be special guest appearances from actress Helen Fraser, star of Bad Girls, and Scole’s Duncan Slater, the first double-amputee to walk to the South Pole, while the newly appointed mayor of Diss Julian Mason is scheduled to attend.

All of the usual fete attractions will be present, including family games, a raffle, tombola, a cake competition, an American theme fancy dress, and visits from the local fire team and police constable.
