Eye will have its Christmas lights switch on, on Friday, December 4, starting at 5.30pm in the town centre around the Christmas tree.
A number of activities sat are planned throughout the evening including the switch on of the Christmas tree lights by a special guest, carol services and live music from Eye Primary School, The Dove Players and the Eye Bach Choir, and a photography competition presentation of the “Heritage of Eye”. For the kids there is a treasure hunt that will take place around the town, with various festive food and gift stalls and much more that are suitable for all ages.
From 6pm to 8pm the Church Christmas Bazaar will be held in the Town Hall which offers a tombola, cake stalls, crafts and jewellery, toys and games, garden stall and much more. Santa will also be in his grotto with presents from his lucky dip. Eye community centre will be hosting Christmas bingo from 7.45pm and festive treats will be served at The Queens Head.
