An elderly woman was taken to hospital in a “serious condition” following a car accident on the A11 at Attleborough on Sunday.
Three other people were injured in the incident, involving one vehicle, which happened at 8.35am.
Two ambulance crews, an ambulance officer and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to assist.
An elderly woman in a serious condition was airlifted to Addenbrookes Hospital.
A young girl was treated for minor cuts, an adult woman was treated for a minor head injury and an adult man was treated for minor injuries.
Those three patients were taken via land ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
Fire crews from Attleborough, East Harling and Wymondham were also present, and made the vehicle and scene safe following the accident, as well as providing casualty care and assisting the police.
