New pupils enjoy being down on the farm
Scole, Norfolk. Class of the Week - Scole Primary School - Class 1
New Reception pupils at Scole Primary School had fun down on the farm in the first weeks of term as they settled into school life.
Teacher Tracy Kelly said her 11 new pupils had enjoyed a trip to Banham Zoo to see the farm animals and learn how they live as part of their first topic.
Miss Kelly, who is helped in class by volunteers Rianna Tisbury and Gemma Steele, said the children were now working on a let’s celebrate topic finding out about fireworks, the festival of Diwali, weddings, birthdays and Christmas.
The children will also enjoy a festive visit to the panto at Bury St Edmunds.
