Diss youngsters collected more than £400 to benefit children’s charity Barnardos after embarking on ‘The Big Toddle’ this week.
Supported by the carers of child-minding business Jolly Tots, the group of children, all under the age of five, walked through the town centre on Wednesday in fancy dress to raise awareness for the charity, finishing their trek at the Aldi supermarket in Mere Street.
Linze Smith, who runs Jolly Tots, said: “A vital part of their development is teaching the value of helping others. I am so proud of how they have taken it all in.
“It has been truly uplifting how the children have embraced the idea of helping children less fortunate and have taken ownership of choosing masks, making them and collecting money.”
She also thanked staff at Aldi for their donation of resources and their continuing support with sponsorships.
