A distinctive butterfly bench installed following the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations has been stolen in Roydon.
The bench was stolen sometime between 9.30pm Saturday, March 21 and 9.30pm on Sunday, March 22 from the common near Station Road.
Police say the bench is made from galvanised metal and is very heavy, therefore it would have taken a lot of effort to remove it.
The bench was funded by the local community following the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012.
Anyone with information relating to the incident or who believes they may know where the bench is should contact PC Jonathan Miller at Norfolk Constabulary on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
