A small army of chocolate Santa Claus figures have appeared throughout Diss, as the Diss and District Rotary Club offers its support to charities in the area.

A total of 20 chocolate Santas, made by Suffolk chocolate makers Hadleigh Maid have been placed in various businesses, pubs, hotels and restaurants in Diss, to be raffled before Christmas.

Draws will take place for the winners at each location, with all proceeds going towards Norfolk Carers Support and the Benjamin Foundation.

Dick Mitchell, Rotary Club president, said: “Diss Rotarians would like to thank all the organisations for assisting us with this fundraiser for children who need our help at this festive time.”
