Staff from Midwich in Diss who scaled three of Britain’s largest mountains in just one day hailed the “incredibly challenging experience” which saw them raise over £7,400 for charity.
In 25 hours and ten minutes, the team, comprising Harriet Robbins, Charlotte Catalano, Stuart Spurgeon, Ellis Barnes, Alex Garnham, Ben Balchin Aaron Lawther, Matthew Smith, Mark Wysocki, Daniel Summers and Jessie Holburn, climbed up Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and finally Snowdon in Wales.
Their feat, which took place on July 16, has so far brought in £7,445.25, split between Cancer Research UK and The Big.
Ms Robbins, the Brother Sales Specialist at Midwich, told the Diss Express: “It was amazing. It was way harder than anyone thought it was going to be, but we all pulled together as a team and got through it.
“When we started Ben Nevis, we thought ‘what have we put ourselves in for?’
“The highlight was definitely at the top of Snowdon, when we knew we had finished. We were all so chuffed to finish it.”
The group also thanked all those who had contributed, and added they were still accepting donations.
