A tiger was the latest animal spotted at the Diss Mere on Friday.

The event was run by Louise Thomspon, of Roydon, who started her own business, Play Make Create, earlier this year. Colin the cockroach and other critters were among the guests from Banham Zoo, brought along by senior education officer Chloe Jennings.

About 20 families, a nursery, and local childminder enjoyed the fun, including face painting and making masks, while the tiger’s tail (inset) reached 257cm in length. It helped to raise £30 for the Zoological Society of East Anglia.
