A Debenham teenager who was caught with child pornography has been made the subject of a three year community order.

Dominic Saunders, 19, of Bloomfield Way, had pleaded guilty to making indecent images of children on or before October 5, 2014.

Today (Thursday) Ipswich Crown Court heard how police had examined a Galaxy tablet computer belonging to Saunders.

An expert identified 14 indecent of children at the most serious level A, six at level B and one at level C.

Saunders had expressed genuine remorse for downloading the movies and was willing to accept help, said Juliet Donovan, defending.

The community order will require Saunders to be under Probation Service supervision for three years and participate in an accredited Internet Sex Offenders Treatment Programme.

Saunders will be required to sign the sexual offences register for the next five years, said Judge David Goodin.
