Time is running out for entries into this year’s South Norfolk Council Design Awards.

The best architects, designers, and developers in the district have been celebrated over the past 16 years in the council-run awards. The closing date for entries is September 11. The awards will be presented on November 16.

South Norfolk Council cabinet member Lee Hornby said: “The design awards have been a great success and welcomed and appreciated by property owners, architects and developers alike. Many entries have been both extremely interesting and sustainable, being finished to an exceptional standard.

“In today’s markets it is even more important that new buildings seek to attain as high a standard as possible and we are recognising these achievements.

“There are many schemes in South Norfolk that qualify and it is not too late to enter this year’s awards, so please take the opportunity.”

Entries are invited in four categories; Design for Living, Design for Working and Services, Heritage Conservation and Landscape Design.
