Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire in Bacton in Suffolk last night, in what is the the third fire near Diss involving agricultural machinery this week.
Several acres of farmland caught fire on August 5 following a fire in a bailer, with a smaller fire in a combine harvester in Shelfanger also breaking out on the same day.
Last night's fire on Turkeyhall Lane on Pound Hill, once again, involved a combine harvester, with fire services receiving nine calls about the fire at around 8.45pm.
Fire crews from Eye, Stowmarket and Elmswell attended the scene, using hose reels to extinguish the fire.
They left almost two hours later, at 10.35pm.
