Colourful way to bring charity relief
Brightly-coloured Fame-style and superhero fancy dress costumes brightened up the hockey pitch on Saturday when Harleston Magpies Ladies Development team organised a fundraising friendly against Norwich City, with all proceeds donated to Sport Relief.
The development team, playing on home ground at Shotford Heath, Weybread, beat Norwich by one goal to nil.
There were encouraging performances from some of the younger players with Emily McClusky and Kara Kilbourn contributing to the only goal. Norwich also found Magpies keeper Ellie O'Sullivan in impressive form.
The Magpies raised 110 for Sport Relief.
