Cash and jewellery taken in Eccles burglary

Cash and jewellery have been stolen in a burglary in Eccles.

It happened between 12pm and 5.30pm on Thursday, May 7, at a property in Cariche Station Road.

A large glass bottle containing a large quantity of coins was stolen, along with five silver and one gold St. Christopher crosses and chains, some rings, a watch and five silver money boxes..

Officers are particularly keen to speak to a man, described as white and aged between 17 and 25-years-old, who was seen acting suspiciously in the area.
