The Bishop of Dunwich Mike Harrison was on hand to officially unveil Fressingfield Primary School’s new frieze.

It was created by one the pupil’s parents, Erica Adams, a children’s illustrator and writer. The theme of the new frieze is ‘our journey’, and helps to reinforce the ethos of the primary school.

The school is linked with the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich, and was funded by donations from the parishes of Weybread, Metfield and Fressingfield.

Headteacher Mark Taylor said: “It reflects on the children’s journey through the school. The children did a piece of the artwork as well, so they have contributed to it, too.”
