A renewable heating company based in Attleborough says it is in a “very exciting time”, after the opening of its new offices and showroom to accommodate the recent expansion of its workforce.
The new work spaces for Finn Geotherm, a business which designs and installs ground and air source heat pumps, were officially opened by the Business Minister, George Freeman, on Friday, November 27, following the firm’s 25 per cent increase in its staff in response to growing demand for its services.
Guy Ransom, commercial director for Finn Geotherm, said: “This is a very exciting time for Finn Geotherm.
“We have seen our sales rise by an average of 40 per cent per year over the past six years. With new staff coming on board, the next step has been new offices and a brand new showroom.”
Established in 2006, the firm, located at Wood Farm in Deopham Road, has carried out nearly 500 heat pump installations at properties ranging from small homes to large commercial facilities.
The opening comes after Finn Geotherm was named ‘Norfolk Champion’ at the East of England Business Champions Small Business Awards earlier this year.
George Freeman, who is also the MP for Mid Norfolk, said: “It is good to see such a fabulous business growing through vision, leadership and teamwork.
“This stunning project has been very well put together and you can sense the high quality and team ethos.
“The world is hungry for clean energy and today businesses and environmentalists share the same agenda to reduce their use of energy and resources.
“We need more innovative businesses in Norfolk and companies like Finn Geotherm are leading a renaissance in the county.”
