A south Norfolk mother will be taking the plunge for Cancer Research UK and her village's playing fields by participating in a tandem sky dive jump dressed as Wonder Woman.
Karen Sills will be doing the jump at Old Buckenham Airfield on August 30, to raise money for breast cancer research and improve facilities at the Scole playing field.

"I'm excited and I'm not scared of heights," she said.

"I have a friend who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and my children will benefit from improved sports facilities at the playing field."

Mrs Sills, from Scole, said that she got the idea from a friend, who was going to do the jump and then decided she would do it herself.

The idea to dress up as Wonder Woman came from a friend who offered to sponsor her £100 if she dared to wear the superhero's red and blue outfit.

Mrs Sills will be paying for the jump herself and all the money raised through sponsorship will be halved between Scole playing fields and Cancer Research.
