Spike in bicycle thefts

Police in Diss are warning people to be vigilant after an increase in bicycle thefts.
Bikes have been stolen from gardens and public places around the town in recent weeks.

According to the police, officers are carrying out targeted patrols around the town and are encouraging cyclists to ensure they take basic security measures to keep their bikes safe, including using cycle locks and marking their property.

Cycle locks and UV marker pens are available at Diss Police Station. For more information, contact the Diss Safer Neighbourhood Team, 0845 456 4567.
