Despite Sunday's poor weather, this year's Eye Show pulled the crowds with an exciting array of events.

The Blades Aerobatics Display, which is made up of former Red Arrows pilots, finished off the two-day event on Monday with a spectacular series of stunts.

"It was one of the best Eye Shows ever," said Les Howard, from the show's publicity company Marriott Howard.

"There were lots of events that were big crowd pleasers."

The London Fire Brigade Parachute Display Team proved popular – completing their landings, despite the windy conditions.

Other attractions included the Ridgeside Gun Dogs, CJ's Falconry Display and the show's first French and continental market.

"There was dog dancing with Richard Curtis and sheep racing – all good, family fun," said Mr Howard.

"I have been going to the Eye Show for ten to 12 years and Monday was probably the best I have seen it on its second day."

The Suffolk Land Rover Owners Club, which was offering off-road rides at the show, raised more than £2,000 on the day for East Anglia's Children's Hospices and Greyhound Rescue.

Money raised at the Eye Show will go towards local clubs that helped with the event – including Eye United Football Club.
