After nearly a year under construction, Pulham Primary School has finally unveiled its new schoolhouse.
The building was opened by professional storyteller John Row.

Headteacher Lesley Farrer said: “The building is an old Victorian house and before we couldn’t really use it. The library downstairs contained hardly any books and the staffroom was too small.

“But now the building is so much more spacious. The library can now fit a whole class in and is used to hold music lessons.”

A television and new books were bought by friends of the school for the library, which has received a full make-over.

Miss Farrer added: “The children have wanted this for a long time and have seen it grow."
