A GROUP of students from Diss High School have received a £500 cheque from Diss and District Rotary Club.
The group of 11 sixth form students are working on various projects between now and October, to fund an 11-day trip to Sri Lanka.

The students will lead a number of lessons and workshops on a variety of topics. The money raised will go towards the materials the students are taking, as well as travel costs.

The students plan to share their experiences in assemblies, meetings and workshops both at Diss High School and local primary schools.
