Proms tribute to chairman

Tharston's Proms In The Park raised £8,000 on Saturday in memory of the village's Jubilee Committee chairman.
Julia Thomas, who died last year, aged 44, had always wanted to hold a Tharston Proms, and the committee arranged the Julia Thomas Memorial Concert in her honour at Picton Farm.

The money was given to the Priscilla Bacon Lodge Support Group by Mrs Thomas' partner Steve and their son Anthony.
