South Norfolk MP Richard Bacon has been approached about helping to organise a clean-up of the Diss stretch of the River Waveney.
Following his help in improvements at the River Tas from Wacton to Hapton earlier this year, the MP was contacted by Diss town and district councillor Glyn Walden.

Speaking at a meeting of Diss Town Council on Wednesday, Mr Walden said: "Richard Bacon has approached the Environment Agency about the mess at the back of Tesco by the river.

"I have now asked him to turn his attention to Diss, after his success with the River Tas."
