Katie Melua has announced a Norfolk date this summer as part of the annual Forestry Commission Live Music concert series.
She will play at Thetford Forest on Saturday, July 10 and tickets go on sale this Friday, February 12.
With nearly ten million combined sales generated from her first three albums, Call Off The Search, Piece By Piece and Pictures, Melua was, without doubt, one of the greatest musical success stories of the last decade.
Now, having spent 2009 writing songs for her fourth studio album, including teaming up with song-writing partner Guy Chambers (perhaps best known for Robbie Williams' Angels and Millennium), Melua is in the studio finishing the record with producer William Orbit, who produced Madonna's award-winning album Ray Of light.
Tickets for the Thetford date are £33 (subject to booking fee) and will be on sale from 9am from the Forestry Commission box office, 01842 814612, or online at
