High school forges links with Europe

Attleborough High School is celebrating a successful £17,500 bid to build ties with two schools in Germany and France
The Commenius Project is a two-year modern foreign languages initiative, which will involve student travel and regular contact with the Eichendorff Gymnasium in Koblenz, Germany, and College Paul Langevin, in Fourchambault, France.

Head of modern foreign languages Connie Wind-Avery said: “I am so excited Attleborough High School has been approved and is funded for such a prestigious European project.

“I hope this project will further communication between subject teachers and our colleagues abroad to expand and share good teaching techniques and ideas.”
