Cricketer left suicide note

Popular Diss cricketer Ben Beckford intended to take his life when he was struck by a train, an inquest has heard.
Mr Beckford, 23, from South Lopham was hit by the 7pm London Liverpool Street to Norwich train at the Palgrave crossing on January 28.

The inquest at Lowestoft Magistrates Court on Friday was told that Mr Beckford’s parents had found a note on his computer stating that he intended to commit suicide.
