Diss First Responders group is looking for new members to help save lives in the area.
The volunteer team provides basic life support to patients, including the use of a defibrillator, before the arrival of an ambulance.

At present, the group has only two members and needs 20, according to its co-ordinator Rachel Hillier.

She said: "We want to be able to cover day and night.

"We would be grateful for any help we can get, even if it was for a few hours each week."

The group runs under the East of England Ambulance Service and receives regular training and assessment.

It operates roughly within a five-mile radius of Diss to include Scole, Bressingham and Burston.

To join or for more details, call Norfolk First Responder manager Andrew Barlow, 01284 731802.
