A nursery is hoping for further success at next week's RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Howard Nurseries, in Wortham, is supplying plants for five of the 22 show gardens.

Nursery spokesman Christine Howard said: “We’re sending six lorry loads to Chelsea this week. We’ve been at Chelsea over 20 years now and we’re hoping for more success this year.”

Among the show gardens Howard Nurseries are supplying are the Bupa Garden, the Lloyds TSB garden and the Norfolk-based designer Claire Agnew Design garden.

Miss Howard said: “Were privileged to be supplying five show gardens. It is unusual to take down six lorry loads of plants so it’s very exciting for us all.”

Howard Nurseries will be hoping to match last year’s total of ten medals for its gardens.

“We’ve been helped by this year’s weather and the flowers really look great,” said Miss Howard.

“If the show’s weather is good and the plants perform then we’re hopeful for more medals.”
