Burston farmers' market is about to celebrate its third Christmas providing fresh, locally-sourced produce and is very much a family affair.
Organised by Peter and Rosemay Schaay at BOCM Paul's pavilion, many items are grown, produced or baked by members of their family.

Free range eggs and chickens are provided by son and daughter-in-law Nicholas and Lizzie Schaay, while daughter Julie Botwright provides homemade scones and cakes.

Mr Schaay also sources locally-produced honey, apple juice, vegetables, cakes, jams and chutneys.

The market is held on the first Saturday of each month, 9am-noon, except in January.

There will be a Christmas market on Saturday, December 19, 9am-noon, when Mr Schaay's handmade wooden rocking horses, sheep footstools and wooden toys will be available to purchase for that special Christmas present surprise, as well as lots of traditional Christmas fare, holly and mistletoe.
