Baker's dozen tuck into class

The 13 Reception pupils at St Andrew's Primary School in North Lopham have been busy opening their eyes to the wider world since they started in September.
A great excuse to drink smoothies, they have been exploring the different kinds of food that can be grown all around the world, and their exotic tastes.
To learn more about where food comes from, they have been growing radishes, cress and potatoes, and comparing them with other foods that are more exotic, such as pineapple.
They have been composting all of their fruit peelings as they learn about care to the environment, and in another project, they are exploring the theme of journeys.
Bringing in holiday pictures to discuss the theme, pupils have explored how we travel and the different kinds of transport we use.
They are also looking forward to a visit to Thornham Walks at the end of this month.
