A £1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for 13 burglaries so far this year in five villages in the A143 corridor north of Bury St Edmunds.
The crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers offered the reward today if information given to them on 0800 555111 or through https://crimestoppers-uk.org leads to arrests.
There are people out there who know who is responsible for these burglaries and I would urge you to contact Crimestoppers
Antonia Litten, Eastern Regional Manager for Crimestoppers, said: “There are people out there who know who is responsible for these burglaries and I would urge you to contact Crimestoppers.
“We don’t take personal details and we can’t trace information given online or on the phone. We don’t want to know who you are, just what you know. You won’t even have to give up your identity to claim your reward”
The burglaries between January and March 31 have occured in Barningham, Great Barton, Stanton, Hopton and Coney Weston, usually while the home owners were away and by forcing doors or windows.
Suffolk Police say jewellery, cash, electrical items and power tools have been stolen.
