Diss memorabilia collector Jack Stannard is hoping to discover more about a local meeting venue.
Mr Stannard bought a silver trophy engraved 'Hoxne Reading Room Billiards Challenge Cup' from a car boot sale.

He said: "I only picked it up for a pound, and was interested to know about the reading room and where it was."
