A globe-trotting chef has ensured visitors to Eye will leave the town with a taste of exotic locales.
Sada Saha, whose family hails from Pakistan, had lived in London, Essex and Hertfordshire before settling in Suffolk.
But his travels extend even further, as do his professional interests.
Despite studying business, Mr Saha has dabbled in the leisure industry and has worked in security around the world.
His career has seen him jetting off to Iran, Iraq, Oman and Dubai, as well as living in Germany with four friends.
During his adventures, Mr Saha, has mastered seven languages including Hindi, Punjabi, French, German and English.
"We live in a multi-cultural society," said Mr Saha.
"Languages are fantastic at breaking down barriers and you can be limitless with your communication."
These multi-lingual skills have come in useful for Mr Saha's latest venture – the Gallery Café in Eye.
"It helps when people come into the café – I have been able to speak to people in German, for example, and it makes them feel better as well," he said.
The café reflects Mr Saha's travels and culinary skills by offering a menu which features turkey curry and Yule lamb tagine with tabbouleh alongside a coffee shop's usual fair of lattes and capuccinos.
The venue also hosts photographic displays, a knitting club, a poetry evening and prides itself on being child friendly.
There are toys hidden under the sofa and presents under the Christmas tree during Eye's late night shopping evening on December 5.
"I am one of eight children and I am a father of four," he said. "We are very family friendly here."
In addition to managing and cooking at the Gallery Café, Mr Saha has become a familiar face in the Eye area.
He has taken part in Stoke Ash Primary school's own version of the TV series Dragon's Den, which the school ran together with NatWest Bank.
"I was a friendly dragon!" he said.
"We are very much a part of the community."
